THE COURTYARD OF THE FUTURE
/in Urbanism /by Morten NielsenTHE COAL CRANE
/in Urbanism /by Morten NielsenA GROUNDBREAKING PROJECT RISES
/in News /by Morten NielsenWhat a pace on the construction site – now our project The Resource Rows is already in three floors!
A high amount of the bricks come from the historical Carlsberg-brewery in Copenhagen, which had to be demolished. The material- and product innovation in Lendager UP makes it possible to give the bricks a new life in The Resource Rows – and our already existing building materials are thus circulated in the world’s future architecture!
The Lendager-family is proud to see the innovative and sustainable residential project being build in collaboration with our great friends from Arkitektgruppen, NREP and MOE.

DEBATE IN BØRSEN BY ANDERS LENDAGER
/in News /by Morten NielsenGreat courage and visions create innovation!
Imagine that Thomas Edison waited to invent the light bulb until someone requested it. Or that Steve Jobs did not question the capabilities of the PC. How would the world look like today then?
We must dare to challenge the present way of doing things and create a demand for circular economy in the built environment! Anders Lendager encourages this in today’s debate in the leading financial paper, Børsen.
Read the debate in the paper version or on børsen.dk.

LENDAGER TCW IN JYLLANDS-POSTEN
/in News /by Morten NielsenThe acknowledged Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, has been with Ditte Lysgaard Vind and Morten Risom from Lendager TCW on the recycling centre to see all its resource potentials!
The Danes collect, sort and reuse more and more waste. But back on the recycling centre large quantities of clothes in poor quality are growing continuously.
Now we look into the possibility of building houses of the old clothes in collaboration with AffaldPlus and Rambøll!

PREQUALIFIED FOR SPIDSEN
/in News /by Morten NielsenLendager Group is in collaboration with NREP, Årstiderne Arkitekter, MOE and Arup Engineers prequalified for the prestigious competition – Spidsen – in the Ørestad district of Copenhagen!
The present empty building plot will within the coming years be transformed to between 30,000 and 35,000 square metres of housing and commercial use. The building plot is of the highest quality with its scenic view to the impressing Nature Park Amager.
The building plot’s fantastic location means that the residents can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. Right outside the door the lakes create the end of Ørestad towards the beautiful Kalvebod Fælled.
The selection of the final buyer for Spidsen goes through a two-step competition, where the first step was the just completed prequalification – and the second step is the competition. The potential buyers of Spidsen have been assessed on the basis of among other things financial health and the quality of the submitted proposal outlining their thoughts and ambitions for the coming building.
Now the team looks very much forward to working with the development of an unique building on one of the most exclusive plots in Copenhagen!

UPCYCLE STUDIOS IN POLITIKEN BYRUM AND BØRSEN
/in News /by Morten NielsenThe Danish newspaper, Politiken Byrum, has published this phenomenal article about our sustainable and circular residential project Upcycle Studios – ready for the residents to move in shortly!
Lendager Group has used recycle concrete developed of concrete waste from Copenhagen Metro, upcycle wood developed of wood waste from the exclusive manufacturer Dinesen and upcycle windows from public houses in North Jutland, Denmark. Upcycle Studios is according to Politiken Byrum “upcycling on a commercial scale”!
The leading Danish financial paper, Børsen, also covers Upcycle Studios in today’s article about our innovative approach to material reuse and sustainable construction – creating the future architecture around circular economy.
Anders Lendager, CEO and founder of Lendager Group, says about Upcycle Studios:
“The idea of zero-energy houses is outdated. Buildings must also be sustainable in the construction phase – and must contribute to the production of energy at the same time. Upcycle Studios is the world’s most sustainable and circular housing – and shows that upcycling is an essential part of the future build environment”
Lendager Group has across Lendager ARC and Lendager UP developed the project and materials – in collaboration with NREP, Arkitektgruppen, MOE and our other fantastic partners.
